Bikepacking 2024 Ride #6 – New Brighton State Beach

Route:
After leaving the shop we will head out towards the Los Gatos Creek trail and take that all the way to Lexington Reservoir. We will then take Alma Bridge Rd to Old Santa Cruz Highway and climb up to Summit Rd. Once we reach Soquel San Jose Rd we will be treated with a decent all the way down to the Soquel Village. After that it’s a short jaunt over to the camp site on the bluff over looking the beach and Pacific Ocean.
Your ticket purchase covers meals, drinks, campsite, sag, and first-aid trained ride guides. Please ride safe and sober!
Notes/suggestions:
As this will be near the beach and in Santa Cruz, it could either be incredibly cold or incredibly hot, maybe even both. Also, maybe bring a swim suit if you feel like taking a dip in the ocean.
