Bikepacking 2024 Ride #4 – Sanborn County Park

Sanborn County Park is a lovely park nestled in the western foothills just outside of Saratoga. We have reserved the Group Site for this one, so let’s make it a big party!

Route:

This will be the shortest of the rides we do of this series at just about 16 miles, HOWEVER, it has a fair amount of elevation gain. We will be taking the Los Gatos Creek Trail to Vasona Park and then heading up Highway 9 to Sanborn Road and then on up to the campground. WARNING: The last stretch of the road is pretty steep, not long, but steep.

Notes/suggestions:

Again, so no one is caught off guard the last mile is very steep. Your ticket purchase covers meals, drinks, campsite, sag, and first-aid trained ride guides. Please ride safe and sober!
